Employee motivation on employee productivity

In the business world most popular tag line is “Human resource is the most valuable asset in the company”. It has been used on a frequent basis and has almost been used repeatedly. Main reason for that is human resource is indeed the most valuable asset that a company has, and it can determine the future of an organisation (Kimball and Nink, 2006). Several signals of employee demotivation are when a company keeps losing its productivity, decline of staff morale, lower profits and bad customer service. If an organisation can understand the relationship between motivation and productivity, these negative impacts can be turned around rapidly (Thomson, 2022).

According to Bob Nelson “An employee’s motivation is a direct result of the sum of interaction with his or her manager”

How can organisations identify that their employees are motivated or not? What are the indicators?

      I.  Higher productivity
If employees are motivated, companies will achieve more goals because they use more focus on their work and complete the work with full effort.

    II.  More innovation
When employee is motivated, they try to complete their tasks in an efficient manner. They always try to find new ways to complete work in a timely manner.

  III.  Improved employee satisfaction

  2. Yes Kalanaka, People require motivation in the same way that machines require fuel and operators. This is extremely important to ensure that they are always in peak working condition. As a result, productivity will increase to optimum.
This is the fact that all organizations rely on their people to ensure their continued survival and growth. People, or employees, are essential to the organization's survival, and the organization bears responsibility for motivating them so that they can work more effectively. Motivation is the energizer of behaviour and mother of all actions. Therefore, motivation is directly related with productivity (MBA Knowledge Base, 2021).
